The deadline for submissions of erotic art, to be displayed at Lion & Bright from March 10 to 31, has been extended to 5:00 PM on Monday, March 9.
Zuppa Theatre Co. is seeking submissions of erotic art for the world premiere of Pop-Up Love Party at Lion & Bright, running from March 19 to 29.
Based on Plato’s Symposium, the latest creation from this award-winning performance ensemble is a discussion of and tribute to the many forms of erotic love. Eros is defined in myriad ways in the play, and as such the company will accept submissions of all visual artwork identified by the artist as erotic.
Diverse interpretation of the theme and representation of people is encouraged.
Multiple works will be selected by members of the company, in consultation with Lion & Bright, for installation in advance of and during the two-week world-premiere of Pop-Up Love Party in March 2015. Works will be on display at Lion & Bright full time from March 10 through to March 31. Artists are welcome to submit works for sale.
Submissions may be made by email only to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your contact details in the body of your message. Artists should be available to drop off their work the evening of Tuesday, March 10.
