The Fairy of the Lake Project

Zuppa core members Alex McLean, Susan Leblanc-Crawford and Ben Stone co-directed the world premier of John Thelwall's 1801 The Fairy of the Lake at Dalhousie University. With graduating acting students of the Dalhousie Theatre Department, this long-suppressed play by one of England's most exemplary political dissidents and champions of modern democracy came to life in the David MacMurray Studio from October 13th through 17th, with a musical score by Jason MacIsaac and David Christensen.
